The Nizam

The Nizam, inspired by a Marcks & Co. pocket watch once owned by a noble family of Hyderabad, features a rich emerald-green dial framed in a gold-plated case. A tribute to the opulence and grace of India’s royal courts, reimagined for today.

Case Execution:

The case is made from 316L gold plated stainless steel with various finishings.  The caseback is a screw down exhibition back revealing the Sellita SW260-1, adorned to the highest decoration with perlage and blued screws. Crowned by our custom gold plated rotor engraved with Indian mandala patterns. 

The case is 40mm in diameter, with a 20mm lug width. The lug-to-lug is 47mm and the case thickness is 10.4mm.

Movement:

Swiss-Made Sellita SW260-1 Movement, with small seconds at the 6:00 position and a power reserve of 38 hours. 31 jewels and 28,800 beats per hour. This watch movement is an automatic movement with a self winding mechanism.

Dial Execution:

The dial is a rich green tone, sunray brushed with an azzurage finish along the railway and the small seconds subdial. The numerals are double printed with gold powder for excellent legibility and depth.

FLAT RATE SHIPPING: Orders are generally shipped within 3 business days using Fedex, UPS, or USPS depending on shipping location. Shipping is free on orders above $100 USD

DOMESTIC SHIPPING RATES AND ESTIMATES:  
For calculated shipping rates:  Shipping charges for  your order will be calculated and  displayed at checkout.  
For simple flat rate shipping:  We offer $10 standard shipping, or $20 flat rate priority shipping within the US.  We also offer free shipping for orders over $100. 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:  Shipping charges if applicable for your order will be calculated  and displayed at checkout. International shipping timelines can vary greatly depending on the destination.  Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Marcks and Co. is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer. 

REFUNDS, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES: We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original  condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.  In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible  at info@marcksandco.in with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We  address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.  If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at info@marcksandco.in 

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reciept and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
