Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping & Delivery
Yes. Marcks & Co. ships worldwide, with checkout available in a wide range of local currencies (USD, INR, GBP, EUR, CAD, and more) so you can see pricing in your own currency at checkout. For orders shipping to India specifically, duties and taxes are calculated and shown to you at checkout rather than collected on delivery.
Domestic orders (United States) typically arrive within 3–7 business days of dispatch. International orders typically take 7–15 business days, depending on destination and customs processing. Please allow 3 business days for order processing before it ships. We'll send a confirmation email with tracking as soon as it's on its way.
It depends on where you're located. For eligible destinations, applicable duties and import taxes are calculated and included at checkout, so the price you pay is the price you pay no surprise bill at your door. For destinations outside that program, duties and taxes are typically assessed by your local customs authority on arrival and are the responsibility of the recipient. If you're unsure how your country will be treated, reach out to us before ordering at info@marcksandco.in and we'll confirm.
Yes! Once your watch ships, you'll receive a tracking link by email. You can also check order status any time by emailing info@marcksandco.in with your order number.
Order & Returns
f your order hasn't shipped yet, we're happy to cancel or modify it. Just email info@marcksandco.in as soon as possible with your order number. We can't guarantee changes once fulfillment has started/ your order has shipped, but will do our best to make the necessary adjustments.
We offer a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible, your watch must be in the same condition you received it: unworn or unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging, along with your receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, contact us at info@marcksandco.in. If your return is accepted, we'll send you a return shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send your package. Please don't send items back to us without first requesting a return. Packages sent without a prior request will not be accepted.
If your order is shipping into the European Union, you have a separate right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason and without justification, under the same condition requirements above (unworn, tags attached, original packaging, proof of purchase).
Yes, custom or special-order pieces, personalized items, and sale items or gift cards are not eligible for return. If you're unsure whether your specific order qualifies, email info@marcksandco.in before requesting a return.
Reach out to us at info@marcksandco.in so we can help you exchange your watch for the model you'd like instead.
Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll let you know whether the refund is approved. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days, though it can take your bank or card issuer a little longer to post the refund on their end. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you still haven't seen the refund, email info@marcksandco.in and we'll look into it.
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives, and contact us immediately at info@marcksandco.in with your order number and photos of the issue if it's defective, damaged, or not what you ordered. We'll evaluate and make it right, this is handled separately from the standard return process.
Our Timepieces
All three watches in the Inaugural Collection use the Swiss Sellita SW260-1: an automatic, self-winding movement with 31 jewels, a beat rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour, small seconds at the 6 o'clock position, and a power reserve of 38 hours. The case is 316L stainless steel (PVD gold plated based on model) with a 40mm diameter, 20mm lug width, sapphire crystal, and 50m / 5ATM water resistance.
Every timepiece is backed by a 2-year international warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is honored regardless of where in the world you purchased or are wearing your watch. It doesn't cover normal wear, accidental damage, or water damage from misuse — see our Care & Servicing section below for how to keep your watch in warranty-friendly condition.
Care and Servicing
Wipe the case and strap with a soft, dry cloth after wear, especially if exposed to sweat or humidity.
Avoid magnets, extreme temperature swings, and hard knocks — the movement is precision-engineered and sensitive to shocks.
Keep it within its 50m / 5ATM water resistance rating: fine for splashes and washing your hands, not for swimming, diving, or hot showers.
Store it dial-up in a dry place, ideally a watch box or soft pouch, away from direct sunlight.
If it's not being worn regularly, consider a watch winder to keep the automatic movement's lubrication evenly distributed, or simply hand-wind it occasionally.
As a general rule of thumb for mechanical automatic movements like the Sellita SW260-1, a full service every 3–5 years helps keep timekeeping accurate and the movement properly lubricated. If you notice the watch running fast, slow, or stopping unexpectedly, that's a sign it may need a check up sooner.
Email service@marcksandco.in with your watch model and a description of what you're noticing (or simply that it's due for routine service). We'll advise on next steps, including where to send it and expected turnaround time.

Marcks & Co. traces back to the early 19th century, when we crafted jewel-studded pocket watches for Indian Rajahs, Ranis, Nizams, and Emperors. Today, we're reviving that legacy with wrist watches inspired by our historic pocket watch archives. The Nizam, The Raja, and The Captain are the first three pieces in that revival.
